Get as much information as you can about the Process by reading, and completing the exercises in the book, The Introduction to The Lightning Process. This is where your Lightning Process journey really begins.

This book is recommended reading for anyone interested in the process. It has been designed to help you learn more about the process and to decide if it is right for you at this time. It will also help prepare you for your assessment phone call if you chose to apply to take the training.

I understand that the Lightning Process ® is a training programme and not a therapy or treatment.

The process or trainer will not fix you. We will however teach you the strategies which others have used to recover from their ME etc.  

I understand that learning the Lightning Process ® does not guarantee me any results.

This is because it’s a training programme. We will train you in the same way as everybody else who’s found this approach the key to moving their lives on. But we can’t predict whether you will apply the training to your life or not.

I accept full responsibility for the effects of applying or not applying this training programme to my life.

I recognise that the mind and body can powerfully influence each other.

I am prepared to look at and challenge my beliefs about my condition/illness, my health and myself.

I am totally prepared to do the sometimes-challenging work, of starting to think very differently, that is required to get myself back on track.  
Not quite ready

Our experience is that not everyone is quite ready to get value from the training right now. Following the information above should make it clear to you whether this is something for you now, or not.

If you find yourself agreeing with these following statements, then maybe it’s not right for you, right now. You might want to spend some time thinking about it some more or maybe talk it over, we are always willing to have an informal chat with you to give some pointers as to what you might need to do.


We consider you to be not ready to take the training if:


    1. You are cynical about the process
We do expect people to be a bit unsure as to whether they will get the same results as the cases reported on this website- that seems reasonable based on many people’s histories of lack of success with other approaches.
However there is a huge difference between being uncertain of the outcome of the process whilst at the same time deciding to put your all into the training process to make sure you get full value from it.
2. If you doubt that the video footage is genuine.
3. If you’d like to give it a go and see what happens.
4. Certain ways of thinking are very valuable in certain fields, being cynical and analytical are great in Law and Science, but not useful in emotional relationships.
We find that a cynical mind doesn’t necessarily prevent you from benefiting from the process, but it does mean it will take you a lot longer to get changes as you will be focusing on your usual analytical thoughts rather than doing the process.
